About me:
As an arts educator and fitness professional, I’m passionate about educating students and clients in a joyous exploration of the work. My decades of experience as an actor and educator make me an outgoing, engaging, collaborative, and communicative teacher. In 2025, I was an adjunct professor at Texas Christian University, teaching Voice and Speech I and Movement II to BFA students. I'm also dialect coaching the current TCU production of Melrose Stories. Prior to arriving in Texas, I directed an off-off Broadway play, Do You Feel Anger? at the Court Square Theatre in NYC and assistant directed a production of The Odyssey at Friends School. I completed my Masters degree at SMU in 2020. While in school, I taught many sections Art of Acting (Acting for non-majors) TA'd Voice and Speech classes, and Movement classes. This work included study of Anatomy, Alignment, Dialects, Breathwork, Dance, Tai Chi, Stage Combat, Acrobatics, and more. I also assistant directed theatrical productions at the university, working in collaboration with professors, guest professionals, and students. I’m a certified Yoga instructor, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and have an up-to-date CPR/AED Certification. Most recently I was a trainer at Equinox in NYC. I’ve also coached dialects and accents for Irving School District, Southern Oregon University, Oregon Cabaret Theater, Texas Christian University, and many private clients. I also worked with an executive voice coaching firm supporting C-suite executives and business professsionals to find confidence and breath in speech and executive embodiment.
